Less Baggage Less Stuff Less Procrastination

A different kind of travelogue. As an avid young traveller I often wondered what would it would be like when I got older, gathered commitments, created children and accrued debt. This is what it's like.

Grand Tour 2015; Planning, Planning.

It’s a week to go. We head off on a 5-6 month Asian & European adventure. Dominique, the kids & I.

Packing has started.

Thinking about packing has been a constant for weeks. Among the determinants of the Baggage in this event is the fact that I am taking the kids out of school for two whole terms. The school has been brilliant. They think the trip will be great for Aoife & Cormac, possibly even better than being in school.

I have tried to research home schooling. I have no preconceptions that I have absorbed enough of that. but enthusiasm and engagement is the basic plan.

I have however slowly accumulated and introduced a series of games that the family play. Hehehehe. More on that later.

The kids and I have also gathered some cool iPhonography kit from http://www.photojojo.com

And Aoife & Cormac selected 10 Lego mini figures to be playthings. Minimal @LessBaggage papa happiness.

In among them that have built 4 Lego Benoit-Lynch’s & Dave The Cat; they will be performing regular cameos here on @LessBaggage

I feel like an extra on the Lego Movie.

Get Ready & Take Care.
