A different kind of travelogue. As an avid young traveller I often wondered what would it would be like when I got older, gathered commitments, created children and accrued debt. This is what it's like.
Nha Trang. Its brave new world of long established russian tourism, a great big beach and a lot less rubbish. Backpackers and parties. Cocktails and sun and sand and kite surfing and heckling.
Why did we come here? Mostly to find some more kid oriented activity for the children. Let the search begin.
Beautiful pool.
A day at the Louisiane Restaurant in Nha Trang can be very nice. We stayed in a pretty cheap hotel (KingTown) and their tiny rooftop pool was too dirty for us. A drink or a bite to eat at the Louisiane and the pool is yours to use. My son usually can’t tolerate Seawater due his eczema so that was pretty handy. My daughter battled the surf! It’s a pretty spot even on the hottest afternoon due to the fresh onshore breeze. Which turned into a lesson on specific heat capacity for my kids! Everyone’s a winner!
My first time in Nha Trang, I sneezed in a mini mart and four people turned around and blessed me in Russian. Hope you enjoyed yourself and you find your way to my adopted home – Sai Gon.
Bless you for that story too.
